Commercial Kitchen Service Technician (HOT SIDE)
K&D Factory Service has been family owned and servicing the keystone state since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues and all other problems on commercial equipment
  • Report all service activities accurately on tablet at the completion of every call
  • Provide excellent customer experience in supporting customers, and partnering with internal team members
  • Ability to work on-call schedule
  • Operate and manage company issued vehicle, tools, and equipment in accordance with company guidelines
What we need from you:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic knowledge of electric cycle
  • 1 year or more of commercial appliance or HVAC repair experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must pass drug screen and background check 
 
Physical Demands:
  • Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting and carrying. 
  • Able to climb a ladder
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures
 
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 to $40.00+ per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Overtime
