knownwell is seeking a highly motivated and personable Employer Sales Executive to join our team. This role will be pivotal in engaging employers and developing a book of business for knownwell in the employer space. This is a player/coach role where the ideal candidate will start off creating the playbook as an individual contributor and over time hire a team to grow the function regionally. The employer sales team will serve as a platform for knownwell to help employers navigate a challenging environment related to obesity management and to also bring its high quality care focused model to employees who may otherwise would not get access to appropriate care.  


Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage prospective employer partners, including HR and benefits decision-makers. 
  • Articulate Knownwell’s value proposition and tailor solutions to meet employers’ needs. 
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closure. 
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential employer clients in the Dallas market. 
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning. 
  • Represent Knownwell at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness. 
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for employer sales in Dallas. 
  • Collaborate with leadership to set revenue targets and establish KPIs. 
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to refine offerings based on employer needs 
  • Act as a “player-coach” by not only driving individual sales performance but also contributing to the development of a scalable sales function. 
  • Mentor and guide future hires, setting best practices for sales execution and relationship management. 


Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in healthcare, employee benefits, or a related field. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Proven experience working with primary care providers and specialists; familiarity with weight management or obesity care is a plus. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building relationships with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 
  • Analytical skills to interpret referral data and adjust strategies as needed. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or health care clinical education is a plus.
