If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, People Relations to join our Talent and Culture organization.Responsibilities:• Oversee employee relations cases of moderate to high complexity; consult with OGC as appropriate, and counsel leaders and employees through difficult situations by interpreting and applying comprehensive knowledge of firm and HR policies• Lead internal investigations, serving as a subject matter expert in employment practices and policies while addressing complex employee relations issues to mitigate risk and help bring issues to a successful resolution• Advise on complex investigations in a variety of matters, including violation of firm policy or procedure, perceived unfair treatment, and unlawful workplace activity• Review performance management documents, manage conflicts among employees, oversee and advise on AWAs, and evaluate requests for accommodations; support emergency response/crisis management cases (for example, wellbeing), employee separations, FMLA, leaves of absence, transfers, relocations, and review outside employment requests• Provide guidance to Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates on complex issues to help ensure optimal client / employee experience• Support annual performance assessment and salary review process in conjunction with HRBAs, as needed; provide regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis of team workload, progression of performance cases, and moreQualifications:• Minimum eight years of recent HR or comparable experience• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferably in human resource management, organizational development, or business administration, or the equivalent work experience; preferably a Master's degree from an accredited college/university in an HR-related field, or PHR/SPHR certification• Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, HR-related laws and regulations, and employee engagement strategy; be able to build and maintain relationships with the firm's partners and employees; ability to question the status quo when it no longer serves the best interests of the firm• Capability to coach and train individuals in critical HR competencies; be able to develop clear and concise written communications and prepare performance documentation; strong background in Employee Relations; excellent at managing a high volume of work consistently• Experience managing HR functions; creative problem-solving skills, recruiting and interviewing skills; effective at negotiating with and influencing clients; platform and facilitation skills• Knowledge of PeopleSoft; highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelKPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
