Technical Talent Acquisition Lead

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join Monstro as our first internal recruiter. This is a rare opportunity to lay the entire recruiting foundation for a fast-growing early-stage fintech company. With a team of 10 today and plans to scale to nearly 40 by the end of the year, you’ll play a critical role in helping us hire across all functions — from product and engineering to operations, design, and beyond.

You’ll own the full recruiting process end to end: building and refining our systems, standing up foundational tools like our ATS, sourcing and closing top-tier talent, and helping us scale quickly without sacrificing quality. You’ll collaborate directly with Monstro’s COO (who has deep recruiting experience), gain exposure to senior leadership across the org, and act as a true partner in shaping the future of the company.

The ideal candidate is a sharp, strategic, and scrappy generalist who thrives in fast-paced environments. You’re just as comfortable sourcing ICs as you are pitching executives. You move fast, care deeply about candidate experience, and are hungry to build something from the ground up. If successful, this role will evolve into a leadership position as you help build and lead Monstro’s recruiting function over time.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador — pitching our mission, values, and opportunity with clarity and conviction

  • Help shape our employer brand across recruiting channels and platforms

Future Leadership Potential

  • Lay the groundwork for a best-in-class recruiting org as Monstro scales

  • If successful, grow into a Head of Talent Acquisition role and build out a small but mighty recruiting team

  • Strong sourcing skills and ability to creatively engage passive talent

  • Deep understanding of the full recruiting lifecycle and best-in-class candidate experience

  • Scrappy, proactive, and energized by building from zero

  • Polished and articulate — able to pitch senior-level candidates and represent Monstro externally
