Nabu Casa is looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team full-time, working primarily on Home Assistant.
Home Assistant is an open-source smart home platform that is focused on privacy and local control. We believe everyone should have access to a smart home platform that puts its own users first, but many people are still not aware that there are alternatives to the invasive BigTech platforms. To help us spread the message of Home Assistant, we are looking for a marketing generalist who will help us coordinate our efforts and grow the community of Home Assistant users.
You will support the development of marketing and communication strategies, as well as the creation of brand and product positioning and value propositions. Then, you will coordinate the resulting marketing and communication projects to bring them to successful execution. As such, you’ll be the bridge between various teams in Nabu Casa, ensuring that campaigns and projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with our values.
Coordinate day-to-day operations with the rest of the marketing team, ensuring deadlines and high-quality deliverables are met.
Project management of larger marketing and communication projects, including Go-To-Market processes
Managing and maintaining our Marketing calendar, including scheduling
Coordinate the Marketing team with the rest of the departments at Nabu Casa
A bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Marketing communications, Business, or related fields
At least 3-5 years of experience in a marketing position
Broader generalist marketing experience
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Near-native-level English proficiency
Experience marketing tech products
Experience marketing using tactics that do not involve user tracking or other forms of intrusive surveillance
Personal experience using Home Assistant.
Affinity with open-source development.

Nabu Casa is a fully remote company that uses Remote to employ people from all over the world. You will be a normal salaried employee in your country.
This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week. Because we are a fully remote company, there is no fixed schedule. For the purpose of team communication, we do try to ensure at least 3 hours of overlap in the workday. You will be part of the Marketing team, and your team manager is based in the CET timezone (UTC +01:00).
Core to the establishment of Nabu Casa was the well-being of the people building Home Assistant. We will provide all the benefits required by the country you reside in.
