Digital Designer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

As a key member of the Marketing Creative team at Naterra International, the Digital Designer is responsible for supporting brand and key product strategies through digital execution. In this role, you will design and produce content and marketing assets for Naterra’s brand websites for Tree Hut, Baby Magic, and more. You will also design email marketing campaigns and create video assets for our retail partners, brand Stores + PDP pages to drive engagement and conversion.

Please consider before applying that the person in this role will be required to work in-office at our Fort Worth, TX location. Remote or hybrid work options are not available for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Work cross-collaboratively between Brand and Integrated Marketing and Creative teams to develop digital creative assets designed to be used across multiple marketing channels and platforms like web banners, landing pages, emails, and content (still and animated.)
  • Design static and animated videos for PDP pages that maximize engagement
  • Proficiency in motion design software (e.g., After Effects) for creating dynamic video content and animations for digital ads and PDP pages.
  • Using data and insights, develop static ads for paid media channels that are optimized for performance and drive conversion
  • Ideate, design, and build new digital features, landing pages, that seek to elevate Naterra’s brand websites and email products to industry-leading levels.
  • Design low-fidelity wireframes for new campaigns, working prototypes, and high-fidelity web designs in Figma for development.
  • Design responsive web experiences and various e-commerce features such as: collection templates, PDP templates, cart experiences, bundle builders, and account customer portal.
  • Design and create high-quality content by tailoring creative assets to meet the specific format, size, and visual requirements of major national retailers (Target, Ulta, Walmart, Amazon, etc.) for brand store and product detail pages.
  • Assist in the creation of on-demand creative assets for time-sensitive campaigns, special promotions, or seasonal marketing initiatives in collaboration with Brand and Integrated Marketing teams.
  • Handle all aspects of digital design requests, including asset sharing, image manipulation, mockups, retouching, and color correction of product images.
  • Additional responsibilities include creating a large volume of static image content for our digital marketing campaigns across various Retailers. You will need to meticulously adapt brand assets to meet the specific size and format requirements of each Retailer’s Brand Store + PDP page.

An active portfolio link will be required to be considered for the role. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design across all platforms.
  • Experience in batching large volumes of image resizing, storyboarding, and video animation required.
  • Understanding of performance metrics and ability to create assets that drive results
  • Experience in relevant technologies (Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Mac OS, Microsoft)
  • Familiarity with web development principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with external developers.
  • Passion and interest in the e-commerce and DTC design industry with readiness to apply that passion to your day-to-day work on Naterra’s brand websites
  • Experience with mobile design and responsive web applications
  • Solid grasp of typography, color theory, and layout design
