ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about sports and entertainment and do you already have some first experience in running marketing surveys? Then combine both passions and join the market research team at Nielsen Sports.

 

At Nielsen Sports, a leading international research and consulting company, you will have the opportunity to support and accompany our clients, which include the top brands, clubs, associations and media companies in the sports and entertainment industry.

The role will be based in Cologne, and we encourage everyone to work from there to learn from and connect with colleagues. However, we have adopted a flexible working approach and therefore the opportunity to work from home is available for those wanting to do so.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Independent implementation and coordination of national and international projects in the area of ​​quantitative market research in the sports and entertainment context.
  • Questionnaire development and consultation.
  • Project-related quality assurance.
  • Project management.
  • Interpretive data analysis.
  • Creation of presentations and reports (PowerPoint) and dashboard solutions
  • Project-related support for well-known customers
  • Cross-border collaboration in an international team


REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree with very good results with a focus on market research or comparable disciplines.
  • First experience in market research (through an internship or freelance work)
  • Affinity to current sporting events and sports business, especially football and the Bundesliga.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • High level of responsibility, initiative and service orientation.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SPSS as well as knowledge of common analytical methods are required.
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Native German language knowledge.
