Overview:
Gracenote is the top provider of entertainment information, creating industry-leading databases of TV, movie, and music metadata for entertainment guides, applications and in-car entertainment.
We are the leading supplier of TV and Movie entertainment data. We supply data to leading entertainment platforms and devices.
We are currently looking for a Sports Schedule Editor to join our Content team.
About The Role:
The Gracenote Sports Content team keeps track of 3,000 leagues across 200 different sports. This data is delivered in multiple languages to media clients, international sports federations, and national sports governing bodies. Our sports data can also be seen on smart TVs and in Automobiles.
Responsibilities:
• Edit and maintain TV schedules and database information for satellite, cable, and pay-per-view channels for sports channels.
• Research, confirm, and compile missing or inaccurate information about sports competitions.
• Maintain accurate information in the database and update outdated content.
• Ensure the accuracy of database information.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate and reliable information.
• Initiate and maintain effective relationships with programming information providers and channels.
• Research and complete information such as participating teams or athletes, competition name and venue, and other relevant data.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Graduate in any field.
• Knowledge or experience writing about sports events.
• Strong Knowledge of Spanish & English grammer: Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Experience in journalism, editing, or translations will be considered a plus
• Working knowledge of MS Office and/or G-SuitesGood internet research abilities.A quality-focused individual with a high level of attention to detail.
• Able to work in a self-directed and fast-paced environment.
• Ready to work in a 24/7 operation, including evening and weekend shifts.
• Be organized and possess the ability to set priorities.
• Inquisitive and learning attitude.
• Logical thought process.
• Must live in the Mexico City surrounding area with the ability to commute to the office. The role is remote, however, if offered the role you will be required to attend a 2-day onsite orientation & onboarding.

• Able to identify reliable, accurate data from sources.
• Solid communication and time-management skills required
