THE JOB / Hospitality Director, Global Hospitality (Payment Services Client – AMERICAS/B2B)EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.• **Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (2-3 days week in office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, or Atlanta, GA.Our client is an award-winning Payment Services brand known for their iconic marketing initiatives. We are searching for an Account Director who will be responsible for overseeing a North American Hospitality Calendar of events associated with client’s property partnerships. This position will have a strong focus on project management, domestic events and product and service integrations.This position is best suited for a candidate inspired by working in a team environment with a diverse group of people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. If you are looking to work in the epicenter of sports marketing and sponsorship consulting with a finance client and a true partner, consider this opportunity.THE WORK YOU’LL DO• Serve as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship, internal client departments and agency partners• Oversee B2B Hospitality Programming across multiple regions and events, with a focus on the Americas• Serve as the client liaison for Americas/B2B Hospitality and Product Service Integration• Manage a US based team to plan and execute high profiled B2B events• Integrate client’s products and services into sponsorship programs• Serve as an experiential expert to ideate on innovative ways to convey client messaging through events and hospitality• Oversee B2B programming and Executive onsite management• Manage finance trackers, budgets, and program reconciliations• Develop sales decks and presentations to be presented to internal and external audiences• Support the agency experiences team as a key member of the hosting and hospitality vertical, bringing new insights and ideas to an evolving industryTHE BIGGER TEAM YOU’LL JOINRecognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in Sports”, Octagon is the global sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing arm of the Interpublic Group.We take pride in being Playmakers – finding insightful, bold ways to create play in our work, our lives, and in the world. Are you a Playmaker?WHO WE’RE LOOKING FORHave an impressive work ethic with the initiative to constantly go above and beyond• Have a passion for hospitality and providing VIP service• Have global account experience and have managed a worldwide team• Interested in the business of sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture• 8+ years’ experience working in event management and hospitality• Organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, are outstanding• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word)• A positive mentality, with a “no job is too small” approach• Fluency in multiple languages a plus• Enjoys travel and are comfortable executing onsite events• All applicants must provide proof of COVID vaccination or contact the organization’s HR team if eligible for an exemption• Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (20-45%).L5: The base range for this position is $70,000 – 90,000.
