Scrum Master, Senior AdvisorWe are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to work with three dynamic teams in the Data Analytics and Engineering space, Client Reporting. This role is instrumental in driving Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling teams to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions aligned with organizational goals.As a servant leader, the Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, guide delivery processes, and remove impediments to ensure team focus and optimal performance. This role combines leadership, mentorship, and strategic alignment in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities• Agile Delivery Leadership• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and align with business goals.• Manage team capacity, address dependencies, and remove blockers to ensure on-time delivery.• Utilize tools like Jira for progress tracking, reporting, and transparency.Team Coaching and Enablement• Mentor teams on Agile principles and foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability.• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable feedback.• Empower teams to innovate and self-organize for better outcomes.Program and Stakeholder Engagement• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and align team activities with organizational objectives.• Facilitate cross-team collaboration and manage dependencies across distributed teams.• Advocate for business agility and promote practices that enhance value delivery.Continuous Improvement• Assess Agile maturity and tailor coaching to team needs.• Leverage metrics and KPIs to identify improvement areas and track success.• Lead change management efforts to embed Agile practices sustainably.Required Skills & Experience• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field PREFERRED (Master's highly preferred), or;• 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean).• Expertise with Jira for tracking and reporting.• Strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.• Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe) are preferred (desired more than degree, along with experience).Additional Qualifications• 5+ years in software development or IT.• Experience in change management and transitioning to Agile operating models.• Passion for fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
