We are looking for a seasoned Social Media Manager to strategically enhance engagement with key communities across multiple platforms. This role will focus on driving community participation, crafting impactful content, and leveraging current trends to elevate the company’s presence in the Japanese market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Engagement: Lead and cultivate relationships with key communities across social media channels, including customers, influencers, and industry experts in Japan.
  • Community Development: Expand community participation within the industry by increasing size, engagement, and advocacy among Japanese audiences.
  • Messaging Integration: Integrate the company’s messaging into social conversations, leveraging local trends and the company's value proposition to boost awareness and foster community growth.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling editorial content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with Japanese culture and interests.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze community feedback and report insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize the company’s approach in Japan.
  • Proactive Engagement: Monitor all social and community channels, actively engaging with stakeholders to maintain high visibility and responsiveness.

  • Passion for Success: A strong drive for achieving results, with a creative approach to enhancing daily operations.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with prominent social media channels and community platforms in Japan, including LINE, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience within Finance, Banking, or Start-up environments, demonstrating a successful track record in social media and virtual community management.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Excellent writing skills in English and Japanese, with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Additional Language Skills: Fluency in English and Japanese is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
  • Content Development: Strong skills in creating tailored content and presentations for a Japanese audience.
  • Market Knowledge: Enthusiasm for crypto, blockchain, and the token economy, with a solid understanding of local market dynamics.
