The Role


As the Head of Procurement, you’ll be leading a nascent organization that is growing both in size and impact. You’ll first dig in to understand the current landscape, and then begin to build and implement your long-term strategic vision for the evolution of the function. You will rely on your core team of procurement operators, contract experts, and sourcing managers to ensure company growth is met with thoughtful scale and automation in your processes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to have a direct and measurable financial impact on our bottom line and improve the purchasing experience for stakeholders around the company.


Core Responsiblities
  • Lead a team of SMEs and operators working to develop and execute the team’s strategic global vision on sourcing, policy, and procurement.
  • Develop and maintain cohesive relationships with key cross-functional partners, in addition to the wider business to ensure systems and processes will scale.
  • Optimize operations across supplier, contracting, and order management workflows, partnering closely with FP&A, Accounts Payable, and Accounting.
  • Build an end-to-end sourcing function including templates, workstreams and trainings for things like deal flow management, negotiation strategies, and establishing success metrics.
  • Establish team goals, KPI reporting packages, and the long-term roadmap.

What We Require
  • 10+ years of experience, including 2 years of team leadership. Significant experience in the tech/SaaS or equivalent experience in the people leadership, procurement operations and strategic sourcing space.
  • Clear long-term vision for an effective global procurement function.


Salary


The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $115,000 - $140,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
