🪶 You are:

Plume is seeking an experienced and dynamic Public Relations Lead to shape and enhance our public image, manage media relations, and drive strategic communication initiatives. As a key member of the marketing team, you will develop and execute PR strategies that elevate Plume’s brand presence, articulate our mission, and engage stakeholders across the blockchain and financial sectors.

This role requires a seasoned PR professional with a deep understanding of the blockchain industry, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in media relations and strategic communications.

🪶 Overall Responsibilities

1. Strategic PR Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that align with Plume’s business objectives and enhance brand visibility.

  • Craft compelling narratives and key messages that effectively communicate Plume’s mission, values, and innovations to diverse audiences.

  • Identify and capitalize on PR opportunities, including product launches, partnerships, and industry events.

2. Media Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the blockchain, fintech, and technology sectors.

  • Proactively secure media coverage through press releases, interviews, and contributed articles.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

3. Content Development

  • Oversee the creation of high-quality PR materials, including press releases, media kits, speeches, and blog posts.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.

  • Manage the development of thought leadership content that positions Plume as an industry leader.

4. Crisis Communication

  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and mitigate potential PR issues.

  • Act as a spokesperson during crisis situations, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

5. Event Management

  • Plan and execute PR events, including press conferences, product launches, and industry conferences.

  • Identify and secure speaking opportunities for Plume’s executives at relevant industry events.

6. Measurement & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze PR campaign performance, providing regular reports on media coverage, public sentiment, and ROI.

  • Utilize insights to refine PR strategies and improve future outcomes

  1. 7+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, preferably within the crypto or fintech.

  2. Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.

  3. Strong network of media contacts and a deep understanding of the media landscape.

  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.

  5. Experience managing crisis communications and acting as a company spokesperson.

  6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  7. Proficiency in PR analytics tools and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

  8. Passion for the blockchain industry and a deep understanding of its dynamics and trends.
