Why it matters: Our Product Manager will play an integral role in driving the vision for Axios HQ as an AI-powered essential communications tool by driving discovery to build a roadmap that regularly delivers value to customers and moves product metrics.

Go deeper: In this role, you will make an impact to Axios HQ through the following responsibilities:

Boosting product usage in order to achieve business outcomes
Deeply understanding product usage and how our product fits into our customers’ lives
Driving product discovery to uncover powerful product solutions that move our metrics
Collaborating with product design and engineering to deliver an outstanding product experience
Working with stakeholders across departments
Using agile practices to learn, test, and ship novel solutions to our customers
Steering product delivery in two-week sprints

The details: Ideal candidates embody an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Axios HQ’s mission and values - raise the bar, stay curious, be inclusive always, and champion each other - and have the following skills:

3+ years of professional product management experience on a software product, ideally SaaS
Commitment to quality: pride in delivering unmatched products with measurable value
Strong product intuition and strategic thinking
Ability to drive alignment on complex projects
Experience working closely with designers and engineers
Facility with product analytics and reporting tools
Track record of shipping products that solve real problems and delight users
Working knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
Experience working on a B2B product preferred
Experience with products with a machine learning component preferred

Don’t forget:

Axios HQ believes in fair and equitable pay. Annual compensation for this role is in the range of $140,000-$150,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills.
