Drive  end-to-end  product  design  including  UX  (User  Experience),  UI  (User  Interface),  interaction,  and visual  design  for  web  and  native  applications.  Take  ownership  of  experience  design  from  concept  to execution in order to design products that provide high-quality experiences to students and teachers as a part  of  Quizlet's  core  study  products  group.  Participate  in  product  design  process,  including  project prioritization and planning, conducting research, writing technical design documents, mapping user flows, creating  wireframes,  prototyping,  and  designing  high-fidelity  UI across  website  and  native  applications. Review,  analyze,  and  apply  quantitative  and  qualitative  insights  in  order  to  develop  designs,  iterate rapidly,  and  optimize  user  experiences.  Partner  closely  with  product  management,  engineering,  content design, marketing, and analytics teams to solve problems, manage trade-offs, and ultimately deliver high-quality  experiences  for  students  and  teachers.  Prepare  and  present  designs  to  internal  stakeholders. 

Salary: $193,190 - $203,500 per year.  

 

Minimum  Requirements:  Bachelor’s  degree  or  U.S.  equivalent  in  Computer  Science,  Computer Information  Systems,  or  a  related  field,  plus  7  years  of  professional  experience  as  a  product  designer, web  architect,  or  any  occupation/position/job  title  involving  digital  product  design  at  an  Education Technology company. 

 

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience designing interactive web and  native  applications  for  business  to  consumer  applications  from  inception  to  completion;  3  years  of professional experience performing motion design and animation and contributing to design systems and Figma  component  libraries;  3  years  of  professional  experience  solving  design  problems  (including 

research  on  key  user  problems  in  particular  fields,  research  on  competitors  in  the  market,  or  creating intuitive  flows  for  product  experience  and  evaluating  success  through  metrics);  3  years  of  professional experience  prototyping  with  tools  including  Figma,  Framer,  and  Principle;  3  years  of  professional experience  conducting  exploratory  user  research  and  usability  testing;  and  3  years  of  professional 

experience with typography, layout, and interaction design.
