Remilia Corporation seeks a General Manager to oversee our expanding portfolio of cultural ventures and digital community platforms. The ideal candidate will balance operational excellence with a deep understanding of internet culture, fashion subcultures, and digital communities.

Role Overview

As General Manager, you will implement and oversee the operational infrastructure needed to scale Remilia's diverse initiatives while preserving our distinctive cultural voice and creative autonomy. You will work closely with division leads across our Digital Platforms, Fashion Lines, Events, and Media Publishing verticals to establish consistent operational practices while allowing for the experimental spirit that defines our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Operations

  • Coordinate operations across our diverse portfolio including Reisen Academy (fashion), Milady Raves (global events), and Remilia Quarterly (publishing)

  • Develop and implement operational systems that support rapid growth while preserving creative autonomy

  • Identify and facilitate synergies between seemingly discrete business verticals

  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize initiatives based on strategic impact and resource requirements

Team Development

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and team structure development across divisions

  • Build operations teams for each vertical that understand both creative and business imperatives

  • Implement performance frameworks that acknowledge both cultural contribution and operational metrics

  • Foster a culture that balances creative experimentation with operational excellence

Global Coordination

  • Manage international operations, particularly between our US presence and Korean manufacturing/design teams

  • Oversee supply chain management for physical products (fashion, merchandise)

  • Ensure consistent execution of Milady Raves across global locations

  • Develop systems for effective communication and collaboration across time zones and cultural contexts

Community Platform Scaling

  • Work with engineering and community teams to scale Miladychan while preserving its distinctive culture

  • Implement moderation systems that maintain community standards without stifling creative expression

  • Oversee development of features that enhance community engagement and platform sustainability

  • Balance growth objectives with preservation of the platform's cultural specificity

Cross-Functional Integration

  • Create operational links between our creative and technical teams

  • Develop project management frameworks appropriate for creative production environments

  • Establish reporting systems that provide clear visibility without imposing excessive structure

  • Serve as operational translator between creative vision and execution requirements

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years in operations leadership roles within creative industries, digital platforms, or community-driven organizations

  • Proven track record scaling operations for organizations in growth phase

  • Experience managing teams across multiple business verticals

  • Background in at least two of: fashion operations, event production, digital platform management, or media production

Skills

  • Strong project management abilities with adaptability to creative environments

  • Excellent people management skills with ability to lead diverse teams
