We are seeking a Director of Insurance Product with deep wordings experience to drive the growth and performance of our cyber insurance products. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Underwriting Officer to maintain a market competitive product and drive sustainability. You will play a pivotal role in shaping language and aligning coverage with market trends. 


 We're looking for a candidate who brings a blend of Cyber and Tech E&O product expertise, legal acumen, and innovation to the cyber insurance landscape. 


Responsibilities:
  • Lead the drafting, refinement and negotiation of cyber policy language and endorsements to ensure clarity and regulatory compliance. 
  • Work closely with the Chief Underwriting Officer to provide guidance on policy intent, interpretations and risk appetite to underwriters and brokers.
  • Monitor cyber threats, legal precedents and industry trends to anticipate coverage solutions that address emerging cyber risks.
  • Coordinate projects and work collaboratively with other key stakeholders internally, including but not limited to Claims, Actuarial, Compliance, Operations, Product, and Capacity Partners. 
  • Support the global team in organizing internal and market intelligence, educational resources and product training.
  • Monitor claims developments and impact of wording on claims. 
  • Support insurance product innovation for key partnerships. 


Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years experience in cyber insurance, with significant experience in policy wordings underwriting or legal review of insurance products
  • Legal expertise, JD preferred.
  • Proven understanding of cyber coverage, policy language and risk transfer mechanisms 
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and articulate complex insurance concepts 
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.


$190,000 - $230,000 a year
