This role will entail planning, executing, and completing projects according to sponsor-set goals, timeline, and within budget. The Cybersecurity Project Manager will be responsible to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity project plans. The Cybersecurity Project Manager will collaborate effectively with various departments to understand and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards to implement robust security measures and achieve project goals. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.Responsibilities• Develops, implements, and manages comprehensive cybersecurity project plans and any relevant documentation.• Defines priorities and requirements for projects through planning, design, build, testing, and service transition phases.• Partners with relevant business, clinical, Digital and department leadership stakeholders to coordinate for smooth project execution.• Identifies and facilitates the resolution of any issues that may arise.• Ability to adjust project plans and pivot direction quickly based on progress and evolving requirements.• Facilitates regular stakeholder meetings to communicate project status and risks.• Develops and compiles detailed project documentation and reports for senior management.• Develops project communications and updates for executive leadership including COO, CIO, CISO, and senior IT leadership.• Continuously strives to improve project management methodologies and processes.• Ensures successful adoption and change management within and across programs and projects.• Builds positive working relationships across the organization; engages effectively with staff, management, and senior leadership in order to ensure the success of program and project-related initiatives.• Partners with operational leadership and sponsors to ensure program and project alignment with business needs, productive working relationships, and open lines of communication.• Supports Cybersecurity leadership in strategic planning efforts.• Proactively identifies opportunities to deliver value to the organization and works with relevant leadership and governance bodies to triage, approve, and charter programs and projects that align with Cybersecurity strategic objectives.• Creates a culture of continuous improvement within the assigned program and project teams.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree required.• At leave five years of project management experience required.• Demonstrates success in leading large, complex, and high-visibility groups of concurrent projects.• Possesses experience with high visibility cybersecurity initiatives such as network segmentation, identity and access management (IAM), governance, risk and compliance (GRC), cyber education and awareness, enterprise password reset, and biomedical device security project management.• Experience with managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met on time and on budget.• Experience with managing project vendor relationships and assists with vendor lifecycle processes including onboarding and ongoing project management.• Experience overseeing organizational change management for cyber projects.• Experience clearly defining project scope, costs, success criteria, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints with stakeholders.• Experience with coordinating with cross-functional teams and excellent conflict resolution skills for smooth project execution.• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including large group facilitation and presentation skills.• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Job Qualifications• Healthcare experience strongly preferred, preferably within a large healthcare provider system.• Experience with project demand, intake management, resource and capacity management, portfolio management, methodology design and implementation preferred.• Communication planning and implementation experience preferred.Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
