Manager, Technical Back Office

Sauce is a premier restaurant technology platform that helps businesses grow with our Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup structure and proprietary delivery optimization technology. We are serving a 105 billion dollar US local restaurant business. Headquartered in NYC and Tel-Aviv, Sauce wants restaurants to fulfill their highest potential, this means giving local establishments everything they need to connect directly with their customers. The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.


Sauce is looking for a Back Office Manager to lead and optimize our back-office operations. In this role, you'll manage a team responsible for creating WordPress websites, landing pages, and marketing materials, while also driving process automation and workflow efficiencies. You’ll collaborate across departments to improve data management and support internal teams with streamlined, scalable solutions. If you're highly organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about automation, this role is for you!


What You'll Do:
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of back-office representatives responsible for designing WordPress websites, landing pages, and flyers to support business operations.
  • Process Automation & Optimization: Identify and automate manual procedures by implementing no-code workflow automations, designed templates, and standardized processes.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Lead cross-functional workflows, ensuring smooth data input, tracking, and information transfer across teams.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the back-office support pipeline, ensuring internal teams receive efficient and high-quality assistance.


What You Bring:
  • Strong expertise in WordPress website design, templates, and automation.
  • Proficiency in no-code workflow automation tools like Zapier, Make, Airtable, Notion, etc.
  • Strong organizational and team management skills, with experience leading remote teams.
  • 1-2 years of managerial experience in a remote or tech-driven environment.
  • 1-2 years of experience in back-office or support functions.
  • Professional-level English proficiency to collaborate with global teams.
  • Availability and willingness to work US business hours (EST or PST preferred).


Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
  • Experience with POS integrations, especially Toast.
  • Ability to streamline data processes using AI tools.
  • Background in the food delivery or restaurant tech industry.
