Scholastic is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing data infrastructure to provide data-driven insights and support marketing effectiveness analysis.
Responsibilities: The Data Engineer will focus on developing data infrastructure, analyzing marketing efforts, and creating dashboards while ensuring effective collaboration with other developers and product owners.
Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, SAS, R, or Python for data analysis and transformation; experience with AWS services, ETL tools, and data pipelines management is required.
Qualifications: Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and possess at least two years of related experience in data engineering or analysis roles.
Location: The position is based remotely within reasonable commuting distance of the New York, NY office.
Compensation: $120000 - $131800 / Annually
THE OPPORTUNITY / RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide data-driven insights and execute recommendations as part of the Data Engineering team. Maintain financial analysis, customer analytics, data engineering, web analytics, and analysis of offline activities. Interface with other developers, product owners and business analysts to understand data needs. Develop and maintain Scholastic’s data infrastructure to drive efficient and reliable processes. Utilize data to analyze the effectiveness of Scholastic’s marketing efforts across channels. Develop dashboards and improve reporting measures, operations, and supply chain. Remote work permitted within reasonable commuting distance of the New York, NY office.
