About the role… 

We are looking for a talented Associate Designer to join our creative team and contribute to our marketing and branding efforts as well as our UX/UI design needs. As an Associate Designer at ShopMy, you will play a key role in supporting our marketing and branding initiatives while also shaping the user experience of our platform. You’ll work closely with our Design, Marketing, Product, and Executive teams to ensure continuity of our branding throughout our efforts. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of design experience who is eager to grow and refine their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The compensation for this role will be between $60,000-$75,000 annually.

Roles and responsibilities…

• Support marketing efforts by designing eye-catching digital and print materials, including company decks, event graphics, email templates, and promotional assets.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing UX/UI designs for our platform.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to help shape the visual direction of campaigns and projects.
• Contribute to event planning by creating logos, visual identities, and other brand-related materials.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all design outputs, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Prepare and present design concepts to internal company teams, incorporating feedback as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices to continually improve the quality of your work.

Our non-negotiables…

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to apply them to design projects.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional skills and attributes…

• Motion graphic skills are a plus. 
• Experience working within an agency is a plus.

New York Pay Range

$60,000 - $75,000 USD
