Summary


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Benefits Manager who will play a critical role in taking our programs and operations to the next level.


Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our global Benefits programs. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior leaders across the organization to ensure that our benefits are fit for purpose and enhance our employee experience to support our desired culture as a leading global technology company.


How will you contribute?
  • Partnership with our People Leadership Team to craft a benefits strategy that aligns with our strategic objectives and enhances our employee experience
  • Partner with our local benefits brokers to operationalize our global benefits offerings ensuring seamless administration of programs by vendors to maximize employee experience
  • Lead and manage the annual open enrollment process, ensuring a smooth experience for all employees. Oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of domestic and global benefits and LOA programs
  • Drive Benefits communication campaigns (Open Enrollment, Benefit updates, insurer changes, etc.) ensuring that benefit plan information is effectively communicated to employees
  • Offer day-to-day benefits support and address inquiries, assisting employees in navigating their benefit needs
  • Work closely with Payroll (ADP), HRIS (BambooHR), and our People Team to ensure an exceptional employee experience as it relates to benefits management
  • Collaborate with the People Leadership Team on budgeting and financial analysis of benefit programs
  • Own all state and federal regulatory compliance filings, ensuring benefits programs adhere to applicable laws


What will you bring?
  • The incumbent will likely have 8-10 years of relevant, and progressively more complex, experience
  • Has proven experience building and executing a global benefits program
  • Deep experience working with external brokers and leaning heavily on them to support execution of our strategy
  • Experience in administering benefits both in US and global: the role will cover all areas of benefits, including compliance and leave management
  • Has proven experience in using technology and systems to drive operational efficiency and consistency and proven experience working with peers across company (particularly finance and payroll teams)
  • Has worked in global technology companies and understands the dynamic nature of private companies and their challenges/opportunities


$140,000 - $180,000 a year

The above salary range represents Smarsh's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting. 

Any applicable bonus programs will be discussed during the recruiting process. 

The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training.
