Assistant General Counsel

As the Assistant General Counsel at Snapdocs, your responsibilities will encompass leading our commercial contracting function—this includes reviewing, negotiating, and drafting agreements essential for our SaaS products, and liaising with sales and customer success teams. You’ll also ensure compliance with laws and regulations while advising on strategic initiatives. Your role will involve being the primary contact for internal departments regarding commercial contracts and supporting the development of privacy counseling within the legal team.

To qualify for the Assistant General Counsel position at Snapdocs, candidates should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience and 6 years in a law firm or in-house legal department. You should be a member in good standing of at least one state Bar. Preferred qualifications include experience in mortgage lending, real estate, or prior in-house experience at a startup.
