Overview:

SOLARCYCLE is seeking a Machine Operator for our solar panel recycling line. In this role, you will be responsible for operating recycling equipment either solo or as part of a team. Daily job duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs daily PMS and Documents
  • Operates assigned equipment to process materials
  • Completes machine adjustments, repairs, and troubleshoots equipment to ensure efficient machine operation
  • Performs preventative maintenance and preventative cleaning on equipment as assigned
  • Operates related production equipment, including Pre-Wash systems, Wash systems, Extrusion systems, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other related equipment
  • Performs work in a safe manner and is responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring the line is fed with good quality raw materials to produce finished goods product quality
  • Responsible for adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices GMP rules
  • Responsible for maintaining high standards relating to area housekeeping
  • Assists in other work areas as needed or directed by the department supervisor
  • Communicate with leadership and maintain all downtime events
  • Must have good attendance and be a self-starter

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Combination of additional education and experience.
  • Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Must be able to work second shift.
