Sr. Partnership Manager | Acorns


Acorns is seeking a Sr. Partnership Manager to oversee and nurture Acorns’ strategic partnerships. In this role you’ll cultivate relationships with key Acorns’ partners, manage day-to-day account operations, and proactively create strategies that drive growth with our partners. This position will report to the Chief Operations Officer of Acorns.


This role has the option to be remote or based in our Irvine, CA or New York, NY offices.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Own and strengthen Acorns’ strategic partnerships; Identify customer goals, foster healthy engagement, anticipate needs, and deepen Acorns’ value offerings.  
  • Manage day-to-day operations of partnership efforts including tracking project and campaign delivery, stakeholder management, and technical integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, & Data Analytics to scope partnership requirements, devise growth strategies, product enhancements, and innovative offerings.
  • Analyze partner performance reports, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize advertising strategies and ensure customer health and satisfaction.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews for strategic clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to strategize renewals and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Manage the Sr. Partnership Lead; Provide direction and guidance with core responsibilities as well as career and personal development


What you will bring to Acorns


  • 5-7+ years of experience in account management or sales development management
  • Proven track record in cultivating and managing relationships with partners at a Director level and above
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with data, tech, product, and marketing teams. Experience in marketing is a plus.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Keynote, Excel, and Google Suite
  • Diligent work ethic with a high attention to detail
  • Thirst for delivering game-changing products
  • Exceptional drive and precision in delivery
  • A belief that your work is tied to your life's mission
  • Optimistic about the potential of societal change

Compensation Information:


The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $103,549 - $129,436; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, equity grants, and discretionary cash bonus awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.


If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
