What you’ll work on day-to-day
This role will proactively source, pursue and close business across industry sectors and across the firm’s professional service areas including end-to-end software product delivery (iterative discovery, design, development and release using, Agile/XP practice and technology strategy and implementation).
Sets sales strategy in close collaboration with Marketing, Account Management and Delivery
Closes values aligned booked revenue in line with or greater than quota
Collaborates with Solutions Architects to qualify leads according to Stride’s values
Manage and track the Stride new business pipeline from leads to booked revenue
Coordinates activities across Stride to strategically leverage our collective networks and nurture new leads
Establishes and maintains high-level relationships with key decision-makers with prospects and existing clients (the ideal candidate will have previously developed relationships and a strong network of contacts within this space)
Identifies product improvements or new service products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitor growth as well as strategies for commercialization
Develops a deep understanding of Stride’s value proposition and service offerings, including by developing cross-functional relationships within Stride
Here’s what we're looking for
An experienced sales executive will be familiar with the demands of professional services sales roles, understand the tech industry intimately, and will bring creativity and proven approaches to selling intangible service solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong, enterprise-wide network that preferably includes tech industry contacts and exceptional selling skills to expand our client base in these markets. As the primary sales driver, this role will work with the demand organization to drive strategy, hunt for new business, and grow the sales organization.
Significant sales experience selling consulting engagements, software development or technology-based preferred
Experience in the tech industry and passion to learn software development and Agile/XP methodologies preferred
Leading and collaborating pre-sales efforts to define technical solutions, deliver proposals, and draft contracts
Experience in a technical professional services closing role, including being a thought-partner in the sales process

You'll also delve into industry trends, competitor strategies, and product improvements so that you can drive our mission and values every step of the way. We’re looking for someone with significant experience in consulting sales, a profound understanding of the tech landscape, and a passion for Agile methodologies.
