We're looking for our 2nd Sales Account Executive, who is in the top 1% of consultative selling. This role requires a polished professional who naturally builds trust and rapport with prospects. If you love to not just sell — but want to genuinely provide value (even if that means referring the client to another competitor), then this role is for you.
You inspire trust: You are polished, professional, and can clearly communicate to founders and C-level executives about their different options for moving forward when winding down.
You’re in the top 1% of consultative selling: You’re great at asking questions, going deep on discovery, uncovering pain points, and tailoring your pitch accordingly. You know when to close and when a prospect is not a good fit.

Early-Stage: You’re not interested in early-stage startups
NYC: You don’t live in NYC or want to move to NYC
Office: You don’t want to work in person, 5 days a week
Transactional: You aren’t interested in transactional and consultative sales
Your goal will be to maintain a 40%+ close rate
Learn: Immerse yourself in everything Sunset, our customers, and the dissolution process. You’ll gain a comprehensive knowledge of our products, services, and industry landscape.
Understand: You’ll develop a deep understanding of how we sell at Sunset through intensive training, mock sales calls, and shadowing our experienced AE. You'll learn our best practices, objection-handling techniques, and how to effectively communicate our value proposition.
Practice: Within the first 2 months, you'll begin leading sales calls with the support of a team member.
Own: By the 3-month mark, you'll take full ownership of the entire sales cycle. This includes independently conducting discovery calls, follow-ups, nurturing leads, and closing deals. You'll be responsible for managing your pipeline, tailoring pitches to client needs, and driving sales from initial contact to successful close.
