Director, Paid Growth Marketing

Talkiatry is seeking a Director of Paid Growth Marketing who will lead the team responsible for all efforts to acquire new patients via paid marketing channels, working closely with operational teams and executives to increase access to high-quality mental healthcare. The ideal candidate is highly data-driven and collaborative, and has experience managing 8-figure performance marketing budgets for high-growth consumer brands.

60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low, and paperwork is unduly burdensome.   With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine. 



You Will:
  • Own paid media strategy to acquire new patients, managing to CAC, spend, and patient volume targets
  • Lead a team and manage an agency/contractor bench, helping determine the mix of in-house vs. outsourced, vet new partners, and hire more growth marketers
  • Diversify our channel mix by investing in new and nascent channels (e.g. OTT, Podcasts) while bringing more scale and efficiency to our existing channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, Affiliate)
  • Provide insights and metrics on platform, placement, creative, and campaign performance Design testing plans to measure the ongoing impact of media efforts
  • Improve performance by developing and implementing testing strategies across channels, audience segmentation, landing pages, creative, etc.
  • Forecast media spend and acquisition performance in partnership with the VP of Growth Marketing and Finance


You Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • 7+ years of experience in paid performance marketing, with experience managing 8+ figure budgets
  • A player-coach mentality with a bias for action and 3+ years experience managing teams
  • Strong analytical skills, with a high level of proficiency in SQL and BI tools (e.g. Looker, Thoughspot, Mode, Tableau or equivalent) and the ability to use data from a variety of sources to inform strategic decisions (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, My SQL, etc.)
  • Proven track record of significantly accelerating growth through a variety of paid channels including: Meta, Google, TikTok, OTT, Podcasts, Affiliate etc.
  • Expertise in A/B testing, incrementality testing, and a variety of media measurement methodologies (e.g. multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, incrementality testing)
  • Experience deeply partnering with creative teams on ongoing creative testing roadmaps
  • Deep understanding of vendors, tools, systems, and tactics across the evolving performance marketing landscape
  • Outstanding communicator, collaborator, and teammate
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to constant change and work effectively in a fast pace environment
  • Passion for driving meaningful growth that increases access to mental healthcare
  • Bonus points if you have experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries, with a focus on maintaining user privacy and protecting patient health information

$170,000 - $210,000 a year
Compensation range for this position is $170,000 to $210,000, and up to 15% performance bonus and equity, depending on experience; actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, location, as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
