As a Growth Operations General Manager, you are not only a driving force behind Traba’s expansion but also a leader in shaping our team’s execution and strategy. You will fuel Traba’s growth by spearheading expansion efforts in existing markets and launching new ones-directly impacting our market reach and ensuring the success of our current and future clients. In this role, you will lead by example, working cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering while mentoring and developing teammates to drive high-impact results. You’ll take ownership of critical initiatives, wear multiple hats, lead a team of growth associates (account executives) and collaborate closely with customers and workers to achieve our objectives. This role offers the opportunity to lead from the front while gaining firsthand experience in scaling a high-growth startup.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute the growth strategy, including launching new markets from 0-1 and scaling existing markets from 1-10
Operate as a player-coach, rolling up your sleeves to drive results while mentoring and developing a high-performing team
Oversee business development efforts, including meeting with, and closing partnerships with warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities
Act as a strategic leader and advocate for Traba’s brand, representing our vision, values, and unique value proposition to potential partners
Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, translating insights into actionable growth strategies
Develop and execute market penetration strategies, increasing Traba’s market share and driving revenue growth
Build and implement scalable tools, geo insights, and reporting structures, providing data-driven recommendations to cross-functional teams
Serve as a subject matter expert in the light industrial space, including distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, and third-party logistics
Establish operational excellence by proactively identifying and addressing bottlenecks, optimizing supply and demand dynamics, and improving marketplace efficiency
Oversee key operational initiatives, such as launching labor supply in new markets, resolving worker payment issues, and supporting WMS (Warehouse Management System) integrations at 3PLs
Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and long-term success for Traba’s partners
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5-7+ years of experience in sales, consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, working at a startup, business development, or related roles
Proven leadership ability, with experience mentoring teammates, influencing cross-functional teams, and taking ownership of high-impact projects
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes with a “no task too small” mentality
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to operate independently while also fostering a high-performance, collaborative team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, workers, and internal stakeholders

The total compensation (cash + bonus + equity) range for this role is $125,000 - $252,750, based on market data and the scope of responsibilities. For exceptionally qualified candidates, we’re open to adjusting compensation accordingly. We offer a highly competitive equity package designed to ensure you share meaningfully in the long-term success and upside of the business.
