AU Tax Accountant - Work from Home
- Ensure compliance with Australian Tax laws, including GST, SMSF, Superannuation, income tax, and other relevant taxes.
- Prepare accurate financial reports with a focus on Australian Tax regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize financial performance and minimize tax liabilities.
- Preparation of BAS and IAS.
- Manage and file tax returns and required documents accurately and on time.
- Assist in tax audits by providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
- Maintain organized and complete tax records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor expenses related to tax compliance and seek opportunities for cost savings.
- Stay current with changes in Australian tax laws and regulations, ensuring company-wide awareness and adaptation.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CA is preferred.
- 3 + years’ proven experience as an accountant with expertise in Australian tax regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, GST, BAS, and other regulatory requirement
- Preferred experience using NetSuite or similar accounting software.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office applications, and Australian tax software.
- Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance
