The Associate Merchant supports the delivery of a regional line plan to meet consumer and account needs while ensuring alignment with financial goals and growth opportunities. The Associate Merchant works cross-functionally throughout UA to inspire a collaborative and supportive operating environment and be a consensus-builder who drives results.Your Impact• Develop regional line plans to cater to consumer and account requirements, ensuring alignment with financial targets and regional growth prospects.• Enhance SKU productivity and efficiency throughout the region.• Analyze the marketplace competition, pricepoints, commercial needs and anticipating future trends• Partner with Global Product, Product Merchandising and Channel Merchandising teams to identify new growth opportunities and potential revenue streams.• Operate and maintain Merchandising systems (Armoury, Trasix, etc.) for the business.• Convey clear understanding of seasonal sales data, demand metrics, and margin targets to guide increased article productivity and growth.• Build Consensus and Relationships with Cross-Functional Partners to drive Merchandising excellence at UA.Qualifications• Demonstrate strong skills in working cross-functionally• Work productively in a fast paced environment• Communicate effectively and influence partners• Strong analytical and conceptual skills• Have experience with a variety of go-to-market models (direct to consumer, wholesale, retail, etc.)EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 2-3 years of experience in product management, systems coordination, buying or merchandising positions.• Proven ability to develop profitable merchandising strategies and collaborate effectively across internal teams.Workplace Location• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.• Return to Work Designation: 3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.Relocation• No relocation providedBase Compensation$74,405.00 - $102,306.60 USDMost new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
