Strategic Accounts Manager

General SummaryThe Strategic Accounts Manager (SAM) is responsible for maintaining and growing key accounts by building and nurturing relationships with key decision makers. The primary goal is to retain and grow the customer base while ensuring customer satisfaction. The SAM will work closely with internal departments to exceed customer expectations.Primary Duties & Responsibilities• Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel at all levels within key accounts• Conduct regular visits and schedule account reviews• Utilize resources to retain customers and increase revenue• Maintain customer contract status and renew contracts• Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and new business development• Generate leads for Service and Sales teamsAdditional Duties & Responsibilities• Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts• Communicate effectively with management about service and sales challenges• Stay up-to-date on sales skills and company capabilities• Assist the service team in renewing customers upon expirationQualifications• College degree preferred• 3 to 5+ years of successful sales and/or service experience• Ability to travel 70% - 80% for customer interfacing• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills• Strong problem-solving abilitiesUniFirst is an equal opportunity employer.
