The Director will spearhead initiatives to enhance academic support, retention, and graduation outcomes for underrepresented and non-traditional students, including but not limited to first-generation, low-income students, students with disabilities, parenting students, independent students, and former foster youth.Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement the mission and vision for the Student Support Services program, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.• Oversee the department’s daily operations, including staff management, budget and program expense oversight, and facility needs.• Provide leadership presence within the department, fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, and student success.• Serve as the Principal Investigator for the TRIO grant, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and managing all aspects of grant funding.• Manage endowment accounts and operating budgets to support program sustainability and growth.The University of Kentucky Office for Student Success operates from a student-centered foundation.
