Job Details:

Purpose

To carry out original research on the structure and organization of intact receptor tyrosine kinases in cell-derived membranes using cryo-electron microscopy, cryo-electron tomography, and other biochemical and biophysical techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Design and carry out original structure determination of receptor tyrosine kinases using cryo-electron microscopic techniques

  • Analyze scientific results and prepare results for publication

  • Aid training of other lab members and lab maintenance

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. and a minimum of 6 years of postdoctoral experience.  Prior experience with protein expression, protein purification, and cryo-electron microscopic structure determination required.

Preferred Qualifications

Nine or more years of postdoctoral experience, record of impactful publications.

Salary Range

$75,000

Employment Eligibility:
