The Vera Institute of Justice is looking for a passionate Program Intern to join our Reshaping Prosecution Program in Brooklyn, NY. Here at Vera, our amazing team is dedicated to changing the narratives surrounding the criminal legal and immigration systems, and we want you on board! As an intern, you'll get hands-on experience working with District Attorney offices and community organizations nationwide. Your role will include conducting vital research, developing outreach strategies, and drafting engaging written content that explores the role of prosecutors in addressing racial disparities. You’ll be creating tools for stakeholders and helping us track impactful reforms as we advocate for fair treatment for everyone. With the flexibility of a part-time schedule, you’ll be able to balance your work with your personal and academic commitments! And, you can earn compensation ranging from $16.00 to $25.00 per hour.
