Commercial Counsel

As Corporate Counsel, you will report to the Vice President, General Counsel, Global Corporate, and assist others within the Vertiv Global Legal Department in support of Vertiv’s corporate functions and global corporate legal matters.

  • Drafting, negotiating, and finalizing various commercial agreements, including but not limited to sales agreements, ensuring clarity and alignment with Vertiv’s business objectives and internal guidelines.
  • Effectively provide counsel and support for commercial transactions and objectives, leveraging advanced analytical skills and a deep understanding of legal and business considerations. 
  • Utilizing contract lifecycle tools with focus on process improvement, leveraging technological advances, and management of commercial contracts and documentation.
  • Effectively provide counsel and support for general corporate and business matters, including but not limited to, strategy and business development, compliance, environmental, social and governance, marketing and communications, and manufacturing and operations, on as needed basis. 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated strong experience with commercial transactions, including drafting and negotiating global and/or regional sales agreements;
  • Demonstrated strong experience in interpreting and explaining contract language and/or complex commercial matters to internal stakeholders; and, 
  • Demonstrated strong broad-based general corporate experience in various areas of law.lient information.
