About the role:
Vistar Media has created a 9-week program, where students will gain hands-on working experience and knowledge about the advertising technology landscape, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with different departments within Vistar’s organization. We’re looking for college students who are passionate and eager about the innovative media industry.
Our summer interns will work 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) for the duration of the internship program and will be expected to be in the office. The internship will run from June 9th until August 13th.
Our team is growing in New York! We are looking for a Business Intelligence Intern to support our team. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights, helping improve business operations and strategy. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analytics, reporting, and visualization tools while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:
Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to support business decisions
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights
Support the automation of reporting processes and data workflows
Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
Conduct ad hoc analyses and research to uncover trends and business opportunities
Who you are:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma Computing)
Basic understanding of data visualization best practices and analytical techniques
Prior experience with data analysis, either through coursework, projects, or internships, is a plus
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Detail-oriented with a strong passion for data-driven decision-making
A strong communicator who can translate complex data into clear insights
Comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
High accountability and self-awareness
