Position Description:


Proposals are created in a collaborative environment to develop the right strategy and messages to win a project. Marketing professionals bring value through their ability to steer the process, tailor qualifications to support key technical issues and messages, and write clearly and persuasively. Wade Trim is looking for a Proposal Manager to join our team and lead the development of proposals.

 

This opportunity is suited for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with teams, and takes pride in creating documents that are client-focused, easy to read, and visually appealing. Our team includes 20+ marketing professionals support business development for four client market segments – Water, Community Design, Industrial/Commercial/Energy, and Transportation. We welcome applicants from other industries with the skills to cross over into consulting engineering.

Typical responsibilities include:
  • Lead teams in the development of persuasive proposals and presentations that differentiate Wade Trim from its competitors.
  • Manage proposal content and publish proposals using InDesign. Work with Graphic Designer as needed to support proposal development.
  • Use and help maintain Unanet marketing database to track pursuit activities and store qualifications used in proposals.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support members of the marketing team.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, or Communications


Skills/Experience:
  • 10+ years of related experience required
  • Experience leading proposal development efforts
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign
  • Experience using a CRM database
