What You'll Do: 

  • Hands on development on building n-tier applications using React JS, MicroServices, Java/J2EE and related technologies. 

  • Automation of Web Application with the in-house or 3rd party framework. 

  • Lead and participates in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions by partnering with the product management, project management, business and user experience teams. 

  •  Prepare requested information and obtain cross-function approvals. 

  • Lead the work of other small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned engineering projects by providing pertinent documents, direction, and examples.  

  • Identify short- and long-term solutions and timelines, review and provide feedback for proposed solutions and performing design and code reviews of changes. 

  • Analyzing business requirements, storyboards and similar artifacts of the scrum process, work in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds. 

  • Work cross-functionally with various teams: product management, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results commitment to team success and positive team dynamics. 

  • Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers. 

 

 

What you'll bring:   

  •  Experience with SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies. 

  •  Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using Spring Boot. 

  • Experience in UI technologies like React Web, React Native, React JS (good to have Angular JS experience). Good Experience in CSS. 

  • Experience with development tools such as Git, Maven, and Splunk. 

  • Experience in organization running fully automated, end-to-end CI/CD processes. 

  • Experience in deploying applications on the cloud. 

  • DB experience including Relational Databases, NoSQL etc. 

  • Proficiency in application testing and troubleshooting using JUnit tests.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
