Job Summary: The Continuous Improvement Manager for our Houston facility is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, programs, and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, quality, and effectiveness within the organization. This role involves evaluating current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and leading positive changes throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process Analysis and Assessment:
- Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights on current operations.
· Continuous Improvement Strategy:
- Develop and implement a continuous improvement strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success.
· Continuous Improvement Methodology:
- Apply Continuous Improvement principles and methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and projects.
· Change Management:
- Implement change management techniques to ensure successful adoption of process improvements.
- Provide training and support to employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
· Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
- Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate progress to senior management.
· Project Management:
- Plan and manage improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
- Identify and allocate necessary resources for projects.
· Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with department heads and teams to identify improvement opportunities and gather input.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment for continuous improvement.
· Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that process improvements maintain or enhance product/service quality and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements
Qualifications:
· Practical experience with manufacturing shop floor continuous improvement.
· Certification in the field of continuous improvement is highly desirable.
· Proven experience in process improvement, lean methodologies, and project management.

· Leadership and change management abilities.
· Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
