Sonographer - PRN

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sonographer - PRN to enhance our caring environment. In this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate your excellent competency in a wide range of ultrasound procedures tailored to the unique needs of our diverse patient population—from infants to geriatrics.
  • Select the appropriate equipment and set up your workspace to ensure smooth examinations.
  • Engage with patients, explaining the process and guiding them into the right position for optimal results.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment and closely monitor the production of high-quality ultrasonic patterns.
  • Capture and store vital images, ensuring all results are dispatched to PACS for permanent record keeping.
  • Collaborate with physicians to discuss findings and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.

  • Associate’s degree in Ultrasound Technology from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role is preferred, but we'd love to see the right combination of education and experience!
  • You should hold certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Being Vascular Registered is a must.
  • CPR certification is required to ensure patient safety.
