This team operates within the Commercial division of the POS Tribe and follows a functional working style. Their primary responsibility is to develop, nurture, and onboard new partnerships valued at £50-£75 million over the next two years with a total team target of over £350m over 2 years.
Please note that this role will require travel to our Newcastle-Under-Lyme office, as well as client visits across the UK.

Hey there! We’re Zopa, and we’re looking for a passionate, results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our incredible team in London. As part of our exciting journey, especially after acquiring DivideBuy, you're stepping into a pivotal role at a company that genuinely cares about innovation and the customer experience. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to spearhead growth by developing, nurturing, and onboarding partnerships that are valued between £50-£75 million over the next two years, contributing to a total team target of over £350 million. You will be the enthusiastic ‘hunter’ of new business, enthusiastically reaching out—think cold calling and emailing potential clients, including a diverse range of merchants from retail to veterinary practices. Collaborating closely with the Marketing team will also be key, as you'll be driving 70% of your leads with your own insights. Your analytical mindset will help you identify which businesses align with Zopa’s objectives for growth. Familiarity with Salesforce will be your trusty guide as you navigate through potential leads and relationships. Your passion for building lasting partnerships, along with previous experience in business development, especially in a regulated environment, will allow you to excel in this role.
