Job Description:
Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Senior Claim Advisor, Bodily Injury Floater to join our National Bodily Injury team! Reporting to the Manager Casualty Claims Complex Bodily Injury, you will be accountable for handling bodily injury claims on a rotational basis, providing claim handling for Bodily Injury Claim Advisors, who need support across the country!
Role Designation: Remote
Accountabilities:
Take ownership for the activity required on pending claims of Bodily Injury Claim Advisors, by working the existing pending claim files.
Interpret insurance policy wording, determine policy coverages and set reserves on Bodily Injury Claims.
Investigate, negotiate and settle Bodily Injury claims with various complexity depending on department need.
Comply with best practices as set out in Allstate policies and procedures.
Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements.
Ensure files are thoroughly documented.
Settlement of claims within personal authority and follow company guidelines on claims exceeding personal authority.
Drive claims to early resolution.
Communicate and interact with claimants, vendors, lawyers in a professional manner.
Work collaboratively with all lines of business to assist in the resolution of Bodily Injury claims.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience resolving bodily injury claims.
Litigation claims handling experience.
Claims handling experience nationally.
Strong time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong critical thinking skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of claims.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
Completion of CIP designation or desire to pursue is preferred.

Description du poste :
Notre équipe, en plein essor, est à la recherche d’un conseiller principal ou d’une conseillère principale en dommages corporels (volant). Relevant du directeur ou de la directrice, réclamations accidents (dommages corporels complexes), la ou le titulaire de ce poste sera responsable de traiter des réclamations pour dommages corporels dans le cadre d’une affectation rotative. Cette personne offrira donc son soutien à des conseillers en réclamations qui en ont besoin d’un bout à l’autre du pays!
Désignation du rôle : à distance
Responsabilités :
S’occuper des activités requises pour des dossiers de réclamations en attente pour le compte de conseillers en dommages corporels;
Interpréter les libellés de contrat d’assurance et déterminer les garanties de police ainsi que les provisions applicables pour les réclamations de dommages corporels;
Enquêter sur des dossiers de réclamation pour dommages corporels dont la complexité peut varier, effectuer des négociations et traiter les règlements en fonction des besoins de l’Unité;
Se conformer aux pratiques exemplaires établies dans les politiques et procédures d’Allstate;
Respecter les exigences réglementaires et légales;
Voir à ce que les dossiers soient adéquatement documentés;
Régler les réclamations lorsque son degré d’autorité le permet et suivre les lignes directrices de l’entreprise lorsqu’une réclamation dépasse son degré d’autorité;
Favoriser la résolution rapide des réclamations;
Communiquer et interagir avec les demandeurs, fournisseurs, professionnels de la santé et avocats avec professionnalisme;
Collaborer avec toutes les unités de sorte à appuyer la résolution de réclamations pour dommages corporels.
Exigences :
Au moins 2 à 4 ans d’expérience dans le domaine des réclamations pour dommages corporels;
Expérience dans le traitement de dossiers de réclamation litigieux;
Expérience dans le traitement de réclamations à l’échelle nationale;
Sens aigu de l’organisation et de la gestion du temps, ainsi que la capacité à travailler dans un environnement qui évolue rapidement;
Pensée critique permettant de repérer les forces et les faiblesses d’un dossier de réclamation;
Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite;
Capacité de travailler en équipe et de manière autonome;
Détenir le titre de professionnel d’assurance agréé (PAA) ou avoir la volonté de l’obtenir, un atout.
