DescriptionWe are looking for an Advertising Sales Specialist to own go-to-market strategy and execution of selling Fire TV ad products. This opportunity puts you in the driver’s seat of two of Amazon’s scaled and fastest growing businesses - Fire TV and Advertising. In this role, you'll sit at the center of the generational shift from broadcast to connected TV, giving advertisers access to the scaled global reach of Fire TV and unlocking capabilities that only Amazon can offer. Fire TV ad solutions—including display ad units in the Fire TV interface, video ad units in playback on Fire TV, sponsored content, and custom ads—leverage Amazon’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage meaningfully with audiences. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service, managed service, and programmatic ad buying, these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, increase consideration, and drive transactions on and off Amazon.As a Sales Specialist dedicated to Fire TV advertising, you will work with Product, Marketing, PR, Account, and other GTM teams to develop strategies and solutions to drive advertiser adoption of Fire TV’s offering and ensure customers’ Fire TV investments fit into their overall marketing strategy with Amazon. You are relentlessly proactive, working backwards from both external advertiser customers and internal customers, like the Account Executives you’ll work through to grow the Fire TV advertising business by collecting their feedback and enabling their sales motions. You are naturally curious, and will apply your creativity and curiosity by taking a lead in strategizing Fire TV advertising solutions for our advertisers, diving deep within the advertising community to discuss Fire TV’s benefits, and innovating solutions that meet the objectives of our advertising customers. You thrive in ambiguity and love the diversity of work that comes with an all-hands-on-deck approach. This role will define innovative advertising experiences and coordinate with internal teams to create scalable and repeatable solutions. As an individual contributor, you will work with an elite sales organization and will benefit from having direct access to multiple leadership teams. You’ll leverage your experience buying, planning, packaging, and selling digital and/or TV advertising both directly and programmatically, your deep knowledge of the connected TV landscape, experience negotiating and closing upfronts, and your ability to drive conversations with C-Suite client contacts.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop and scale Fire TV Ads GTM strategies across partner teams in the central Amazon Advertising organization.Develop and implement bespoke industry vertical-based strategies that effectively present Fire TV to those advertisers.Partner with Marketing to develop narratives that differentiate Fire TV Ads’ unique offerings tied to customer objectives and business outcomes.Ensure Fire TV Ads products are understood, top-of-mind, and prioritized by Account Executives in their presentations to advertisers.Develop and manage a healthy on-going Voice of Customer mechanism between Sales and Product to ensure the most impactful work is prioritized for advertiser customers.Participate in face-to-face advertiser meetings with Sales.Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients.Represent Fire TV Ads externally at industry events.Basic Qualifications• 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience• 5+ years of professional or military experience• Bachelor's degree• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules• 2+ years of advanced TV/STV advertising experiencePreferred Qualifications• Experience selling various video formats (MS, SS, Sponsorships, Sports)Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market.
