About The Position
The Administrative Assistant Confidential is responsible for providing general clerical and administrative support for Ameren Missouri. Further, the successful candidate must:
· Act as an informal leader by demonstrating excitement for what needs to be achieved and encourages others to do the same;
· Bring continuous improvement ideas forward to increase efficiency and effectiveness of work;
· Prioritize time and focuses on critical activities that support business results;
· Build relationships with others to promote effective communication;
· Identify strengths and development opportunities for self; and
· Serve as an advocate for an accountable, safe work culture.
Key responsibilities include:
· Perform administrative tasks and projects as directed by the division Director and Contractor Management.
· Identify needs, implement solutions and maintain records for appropriate administrative, organizational, and clerical support activities. Create and disseminate accurate and timely information within the division organization. Enhance communication of information through preparation of documents and presentations, development of spreadsheets, and use of other related tools. Organize and coordinate scheduling activities (i.e.: training, meetings) for the division Directors and other division staff as well as Contractor Management staff.
· Effectively represent the division through interactions with other parts of the Company. Take ownership of internal and external customer issues and collaboratively come up with appropriate solutions. Develop effective relationships with co-workers, customers, community leaders, and political leaders.
· Maintain and/or improve proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, database applications, and company IT systems. Serve as a resource to co-workers for forms, travel arrangements, organization knowledge, and other similar activities.
· Effectively handle sensitive/confidential information.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Three or more years of relevant clerical/administrative experience required. This position is expected to provide support during emergency situations upon request.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications required.
Additional Information
This position will support Mackenzie, Berkeley, and Geraldine Operating Centers, as well as the Contractor Management group. On-site location will alternate between the OC locations.
Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.
Compensation Range:
$52,200.00 - $75,700.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
