Role Details: Full Time | Remote | Hiring Immediately

Hiring Manager: Travis Tidball - Chief Marketing Officer


Purpose:
This role’s purpose is to generate high-quality content that converts Applause’s audience into action, resulting in at least $1,000,000 in new sales pipeline and $350,000 in ARR contribution from content channels. 

Job Description: The Content Marketing Manager will own all content initiatives, across all mediums, including persuasive advertising videos, short- and long-form copy (blogs, ebooks, case studies, etc.), product webpages, thought leadership presentations, partner materials, case studies, and more. Work closely with the CMO to define and execute our content marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the content calendar from beginning to end
  • Plan, organize, execute, and publish content at a rapid pace to support all company initiatives
  • Define and execute Applause’s thought leadership strategy 
  • Be the driving force behind audience personas, research, and topic selection
  • Cultivate a corps of incredible freelancers & agencies, manage all relationships and deadlines 
  • Coordinate across Marketing, Product, Sales, CS, and Partner teams to meet requirements

  • 3+ years experience in content marketing for a US-based B2B SaaS or Home Services company
  • Incredible content writing & editing chops, with a multi-disciplinary skillset in writing, video, and design
  • Ability to adapt and find creative solutions to unforeseen challenges
  • Strong work ethic and discipline
  • Effective in a remote setup with a stable 50+ Mbps internet connection, and will work graveyard shift.
