As a key part of our Financial Services Compliance Assurance group, you will help uphold Apple’s high ethical and corporate standards, as well as enable us to grow our products and services. You will help build and grow a global financial services compliance program, all in support of ensuring we meet our legal and regulatory obligations while offering amazing financial services products. This role is well suited for a self-starting independent thinker who loves solving problems, managing complex projects, and learning new subject matter areas. We’re looking for someone who works well in collaborative environments with minimal formal structure and is comfortable in changing environments with competing priorities. They must possess financial services product knowledge, a natural curiosity, and the ability to effectively shift between communications styles based on the audience, from technical conversations to executive leadership updates.

Description

- Prepare communication materials and progress tracking for multiple audiences including supporting material for compliance, and help support compliance program initiatives, as needed - Utilizing programming languages Python, PySpark, SQL, and R to build and develop data platforms - Utilizing data science to build and derive insights from data, build predictive models, and implement data-driven strategies. - Utilizing project management skills to manage the lifecycle of a project to drive team strategies - Utilizing Tableau, ArcGIS, Streamlit, and Python to create interactive visualizations of data. - Ongoing monitoring of statistical and other types of data analysis results related to compliance programs - Conduct correlation analysis, causal inference, and ad-hoc analysis to provide insights into product risk assessments, and regulatory and compliance reviews - Help develop compliance monitoring systems with use of Tableau dashboards and Streamlit web applications - Build and manage database infra and pipelines with Snowflake, Airflow, Spark for team's analytics and reporting instances

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in data analytics and hands-on experience with SQL, Tableau or other analytic tools and being able to identify trends and patterns Familiarity with ETL and Data Engineering processes including reviewing data integrity and movement controls Experience with API integrations between applications BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.

Excellent communicator with the ability to interpret technical lingo to end users and present key metrics and insights to non technical stakeholders Self-motivated and proactive with critical thinking and creative problem solving skills Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies in a fast paced environment Ability to manage decentralized team focused on results Excellent analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand business and technology-related processes and identify risks Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams to achieve complex objectives
