Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented and empathetic Legal Assistant to support their personal injury and civil litigation practice. As part of a small, collaborative team of attorneys and support staff, you will also assist with tasks related to their growing business formation practice, requiring you to handle corporate formation work.
You will be conducting intake interviews with potential clients. An attorney will conduct the final screening and sign the client. You will be responsible for gathering medical records and any related documents. You will organize records according to our system. You will keep the client updated on progress. You will work with the attorneys and paralegals to ensure that the records are complete. You will also draft legal documents and letters. Many of your tasks will be routine across cases. Many of your tasks will be recurring each week.
Salary - $1800 pm
