Description
• Negotiate and replenish products (Meat, Produce, Seafood or Grocery) at competitive market prices, while ensuring accurate delivery
• Assist in establishing pricing guidelines and maintaining sales plus gross profit expectations
• Generate reports and perform analysis on product selection, sales, pricing, market reports, forecast for promotion and other related data as required
• Purchase produce, fruit vegetables, perishables
• Handle items with an expiration date
• Initiates quote process with suppliers, evaluates supplier bids and participates in price negotiations
• Maintains purchase order updating delivery dates, prices or other required supplier information
• Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories
• Executes purchase order cancellations and resolves invoice discrepancies
• Places orders for submitted purchase requisitions
• Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and delivery
• Prepares reports, plans, and updates metrics as required
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma required
• Minimum of 4+ years of procurement/purchasing experience
• Food and beverage experience (required)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (vlookups/pivot tables experience highly preferred)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.00/hr.
