As a Solutions Engineer at Bitmovin, you’ll be at the forefront of driving the success of our innovative video streaming solutions. You’ll play a key trusted advisor and solutions architecture role in shaping customer experiences, working across the entire technical journey from discovery to implementation, and creating impactful solutions for some of the world’s most exciting companies.

Your Role and How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Drive Revenue Growth: Own the technical aspects of the customer journey, from initial discovery to the technical close, and ensure seamless service delivery of our complex solutions.
• Solve Business Challenges: Use your deep technical expertise to uncover and understand customer pain points, then propose creative, scalable solutions that meet their business needs.
• Craft Tailored Solutions: Evaluate customer requirements and recommend Bitmovin’s flexible, cutting-edge products to create impactful, customized solutions.
• Maximize Customer Success: Ensure customers make the most of their product trials, guiding them through their decisions with a consultative approach, and celebrate their success through detailed use case reviews.
• Collaborative Innovation: Partner with Customer Success Managers to prepare and facilitate impactful business reviews highlighting our value and potential.
• Discover New Opportunities: Analyze usage data to unearth new ways to add value for existing customers—unlocking features and exploring new capabilities to help them grow.
• Own Implementation Success: Work alongside Service Delivery Managers to clearly define and communicate the scope of implementation projects, ensuring alignment and successful delivery.
• Engage and Educate: Lead customer training sessions and technical workshops, empowering them to fully leverage Bitmovin products and stay ahead with the latest updates.
• Support Sales Teams: Work closely with sales, account managers, and other key stakeholders to help drive company growth, providing technical expertise to close deals and exceed targets.
• Lead Consultative Responses: Take charge of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to articulate the value of Bitmovin’s products in a clear, impactful, and timely manner.
• Onboard with Confidence: Lead smooth, standardized customer implementations during onboarding, ensuring clients hit the ground running.
• Spot New Opportunities: Identify and leverage untapped potential with existing customers, suggesting new Bitmovin products and solutions they can benefit from.
• Power Product Innovation: Provide insights gained through customer conversations to help shape future product development and improve the customer experience.Be the Face of Bitmovin: Represent Bitmovin at trade shows, marketing events, and in-person workshops, showcasing the innovation behind our products and how we’re transforming the video streaming landscape.
• Travel the World: Travel to customer locations (25-50% of the time), forging strong relationships and delivering value in person.
  
  

What You’ll Need to Thrive:

• Technical Mastery: Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Python, TypeScript, HTML+CSS.
  
  
• Streaming Expertise: Deep online video streaming technology knowledge, especially in commercial OTT implementations.
  
  
• Enterprise Collaboration: Experience working with technical and economic buyers at large enterprise organizations, bridging the gap between business and technology.
  
  
• Solutions Engineering Expertise: Proven track record in Solutions Engineering or Architecture at a SaaS or cloud-based software company.
  
  
• Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong presentation, written, and executive communication abilities, ensuring you can connect with stakeholders at all levels.
  
  
• Team Player: Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in sales, customer success, product marketing, product management, and engineering.
  
  
• Media Knowledge: A solid understanding of media workflows, video codecs, player architectures, or general media technologies.

Bonus Points If You:

• Have hands-on experience with Bitmovin technology.
• Have worked at a vendor of media technology products, like encoding or player solutions.
• Have experience in fast-growing organizations, particularly in start-ups or scale-ups.
• Have worked in different parts of the United States and Canada, bringing a broad understanding of the streaming media market.
• Are passionate about continuous learning, improvement, and feedback.
• Have a background in software development or have used APIs and SDKs.
